We want to extend a most sincere thank you to our local businesses, community members, teachers, staff, families, and students. We could not have raised nearly $52,000 without you. Here are just a few of the larger items we were able to purchase for our school with the help of your contributions.

Hot dogs, buns, plates, napkins, and drinks will be provided by PTO. Andrew Moore, who has been tapped to replace Mrs. Keppler starting in the fall, will be there to take part in this celebrated annual event. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Moore to our community.
Please join Ms. Briggs and Artist in Residence Susan Wechsler for the unveiling of the amazing mosaic project on May 21, at 5 p.m., in the LES library.
Studies show that when there are always interesting books at home; it can increase the likelihood of a child becoming a frequent reader. So replenish your book selection at the Lyons Elementary Summer Book Swap. The book swap will be held three days throughout the summer; June 26, July 24, and August 7, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. This event is held outside in the grassy area in front of the school. Bring a blanket, a snack, and some books to swap. All students who attend a summer book swap session will be entered to win a book basket!
