Junior Olympics Come To Lyons!

When Mike Hyde of Littleton, Chairman for the 2011 American Whitewater Junior Olympics for canoes and kayaks, learned on Tuesday (July 12) that Clear Creek in Golden was running too high

for the scheduled competition, he immediately thought of Lyons. Hyde and his son have been enjoying the Lyons Outdoor Games for years, and knew first hand how great the kayaking opportunities were along the St. Vrain River.
