Not only did Lyons participate in this meet, but they hosted it as well, along with the Longmont Team. Mr. Roberts has high standards where meets are concerned and the quality is top notch. He praises and thanks everyone that helped with all the support pieces, it almost appears like a family reunion for the Roberts Family on site—but there are many, so please know you are all appreciated as is Mr. Roberts. A remarkable feat indeed. Next up, St. Vrain Invitational, Friday, May 12, at Longmont High School. This is the biggest meet of the year with the exception of state. There are lots of ways to help if you’d like to volunteer contact Mr. Roberts. There will be over 50 high schools and 1,350 athletes from all five classifications plus an elite section of men and women in the 100, 200, Pole Vault, and mile, with addition of a men’s 400. On Saturday for a small donation (suggested $5-$10) you can come out and practice with the elite. Hope to see you there!
