Bluegrass Galore Lyons’ 40th RockyGrass

Lyons Blueologist, David McIntyre

I wonder if the father of bluegrass, Bill Monroe, knew that his collaboration with the volunteer-run Colorado Bluegrass Society some 40 years ago down in Adams Country would eventually lead to RockyGrass, which has since moved to Planet Bluegrass along the banks of the St. Vrain River in Lyons.

Monroe’s music, and the community of bluegrass are now more vibrant then ever.
