Last week was a strange week; seventy degrees on Saturday and snowing Sunday, and nice again on Tuesday. It helps green the grass, but is scary about the run-off. 

APRIL 15: The day to get your income tax returns in, or file for an extension. This is always a trying day to millions, including yours truly.

FAREWELL TO JULIE, SANDY, AND KIRK, dedicated Mayor and Trustees, who devoted more hours than you can think of, to you the town residents.  A farewell reception was given in their honor Monday, before the regular town board meeting. Hi everyone! Spring has arrived. The Garden Club’s daffodils are popping up, and will be blooming soon (our thanks to that group of hard workers). They say most of the beds going east of town were washed out with the flood, and they have to start over. Send your donation to this group (P.O. Box 49) to help with their expenses. Volunteers to rebuild the stonewalls of the beds are needed. Contact: Lyonsvolunteers.org
