Andy and Pam (Johnson) Maestas celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Schlagel family picnic at the Boulder County Fairgrounds. The couple was married in 1977 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville.
Both are Colorado natives and grew up in Longmont. Andy graduated from Longmont High and Pam graduated from Niwot High. They met at Longmont’s one-of-
a-kind “Nik’s Tavern” in 1975. Pam is the daughter of the late Lyons pioneer, Merle D. Johnson and Dorothy Johnson, nee Schlagel.
Andy and son (Andy) both work for their own business, Lyons Construction, founded in 1983. Pam worked at Valleylab; Seagate and for the Town of Lyons prior to her current job at Circle Graphics.
While living in Lyons from 1978 from to 2001, they raised two children: Andy and Angela. They have one grandson, Jack, who they love spending time with.
Andy and Pam reside at their home of sixteen years near Rabbit Mountain.
