Residents are Eligible to Participate

Dear Editor,

We are contacting you as researchers at the Natural Hazards Center, University of Colorado. We recently launched an internet-based survey for survivors of the Colorado 2013 floods living in or near Boulder, Longmont, Lyons or Estes Park. We are interested in the impact of the floods on community members’ well-being, and hope that

results will contribute to future disaster preparedness and recovery efforts.

Anyone who is age 18 or over and was living in or near these areas when the floods occurred is eligible to participate. The survey is available in English and Spanish through the link below. Five dollars worth of useful goods will be donated to charities involved in flood relief for each survey participant.

The link to the survey, study flyers, and additional information can be found through the Natural Hazards Center’s website: http://www.colorado.edu/hazards/survey.html. The survey is available in English or Spanish through the link above.
