Getting on the map, so to speak, normally costs around $300, but we’re making it a benefit of Chamber membership--there’s no additional cost if you’re a Chamber member. Vintage Motors of Lyons is making a donation to a local charity with each car sold, and will match that donation to another charity of the seller’s choice (inside or outside Lyons). See George at Vintage Motors for more information.
Lyons Redstone Museum opens on weekends starting in May, and then daily starting in June. On Saturday, May 12, at 4:30pm, the museum presents “Revealing History,” about how “photographs whose images were obscured by time have been brought back to life with high-resolution scanning and digital enhancement. Hear how these three photographs reveal the story of Irving Hale, the Spanish American War, and the Denver High School Cadets and their weeklong camp in Meadow Park in Lyons in June of 1898.” Admission is free.
Stone Mountain Lodge will be hosting its first annual Father’s Day Brunch on Sunday, June 17. Monocle Band will be performing. Brunch and yard games galore, with 25% of proceeds going to the Lyons Community Foundation.
The Stone Cup continues to have live music at 10am on the weekends.
Mayama Movement Studio’s 9th annual dance production, “Lost In Steampunk,” will be held Saturday, May 12th, at Niwot High School.
A Spice Of Life Catering will be part of “Western Date Night,” a showcase for wedding vendors this Thursday evening. Details about all of these events can be found on the businesses’ respective Facebook pages.
